Micheal Jackson.. You'll always be alive in me^^

I knew something was wrong the moment I on my radio yesterday morning. Almost every English radio station was playing Micheal Jackson's songs. Then I heard the terribly, horrifying news. He was no longer in this world any longer. He passed away in the wee hours of 26th June, due to cardiac arrest. My heart dropped and I was in shock. One of my favourite singers and performers of all time is no longer around. Below is a short history regarding this legend.

His real name is Michael Joseph Jackson. He was born in Gary, Indiana, USA on 29 August 1958. His entertainment life started when he and his brothers formed a group called "The Jackson 5" in 1969. At 1971, he began his solo career while still being a member of the group. Self-proclaimed as the "King of Pop" in subsequent years, his 1982 album, entitled Thriller is the world's best-selling record of all time until now and four other solo studio albums are also among the world's best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and History (1995).

Besides being a singing sensation, the late King of Pop popularized and created complicated dance techniques such as robot and moonwalk. His famous moonwalk has made him also a dancing sensation. Millions of people around the world would go wild whenever he did his moonwalk. Many performers tried to copy and imitate his moonwalk, however, i am sure, many people would agree, Michael Jackson's Moonwalk is the best of all (: Original is always the best^^

His songs like Beat It, Thriller, Smooth Criminal, Billie Jean, Earth Song, You Rock My World were instant hits and still are. Although in a certain point of his life, he faced his share of scandals, but let's see him as who he is, a singing and dancing superstar and phenomenon.

Although he is no longer with us, but his songs and dance moves will always be remembered and loved until the end of time. Micheal, rest in peace, and you will always be loved by all. The legendary King of Pop will forever live in our hearts. We love you,Micheal, now and always..

Yo guys!!!!

Hey my friends.. Sorry for not posting for such a long time.. Busy ma.. Don't know who in the right mind will say that Form 4 is honeymoon year lor.. Must be either a liar or a lunatic.. So much homework, tuition, stress and yet they say it's honeymoon year.. Sheesh!!!

Anyway, today was my school's open day.. Went to school as usual.. Helped my form teacher to put up some mini-curtains.. Then after that went down for perhimpunan.. Don't understand why we should have perhimpunan on Open Day.. Guess the teachers have nothing to do, no books to mark, no students to punish.. Sigh..

The Open Day officially started at 7.41am( officially start means the second the teacher sits and gets comfortable on the chair).. Then 7.43am, my mum came. It's not surprising that she came so early.. She has school today.. Then waited for Adrian and his mum to finish with the teacher, then it's my turn.. Well, the teacher didn't say anything, except that I like to argue and challenge her views, but that's a good thing ( Hallelujah!!!).. No, i didn't bribe her.. At first I wanted to ( by pasting a RM100 cheque behind my mid-year exam paper, but then my conscience told me otherwise.. YA RIGHT!!).. Well, this teaches me that we can escape from things without bribing or boot-licking.. After taking my report book, Mum sent me home and she went to school..

Then, I text-ed Sern Wang to ask whether I can have the honour if having breakfast with him. He agreed.. Then we went to a nearby 'mamak stall' to have 'roti canai'.. He paid, of course.. Duh!!

Then, went with him to church to help carry chairs, amplifier and keyboard for his preparation for his Young Adults meeting tonight.. Was sort of glad that I was able to break some sweat ( haven't done that for a LOOOOONNNGGG time already).. Of course the church van did all the transporting. Sern Wang's SLK ( Small Little Kancil) cannot possibly haul all that stuff..

Then, while we are on the way to our destination, Sern Wang called for backup, in the form of Derrick.. He was available because his school is having Open Day also today.. so Sern Wang detoured a while to go and fetch Derrick, then only we went to U. Pan Nam's clinic..

After reaching the clinic, we had to carry the things up 3 floors.. I repeat, 3 FLOORS!!! Well, mostly, they did the carrying.. Being the sloth that I am, I only carried the less heavy things like the amplifier and the keyboard.. Hey, don't shake your heads.. At least I contributed right? After the heavy lifting, Sern Wang treated us with a Slurpie and a Lipton ice-tea from 7-11.. Thanks Sern Wang..

Now, I'm sitting in front of my computer, writing this blog, and looking at my friends entries as well.. I'm also quite upset today because of two things.. Firstly, I saw what someone wrote about me in his blog.. I'm not really upset that he said bad things about me, because I deserve it. I'm upset because they can't get over what I did.. God, grant me strenth and perseverance.. Secondly, i'm upset because Michael Jackson passed away.. The King of Pop, the creator of moonwalk.. I'm going to miss him.. He and his songs are classics and legendary, and will always be.. To me, at least..

Ok, I'm going to stop typing here.. Share with you guys again some other day lor.. Got to go now. Ciao and have a nice day!!

School today.. My oh My!!

This morning, I woke up to an unfamiliar scene (Well, at least unfamiliar for two weeks).. For the first time since the beginning of holidays, i woke up in the dark.. For the past to weeks i had the privilege to wake up with the beams of heaven, glowing so magnificently and brightly into my room(Sunlight... Duh!!!).. I slowly raised my heavy body from my bed (I've put on some weight after gobbling down durians by the carload during the holidays), walked towards my cupboard, opened it and took my PBSM uniform (Don't be too happy, I can't save you, even if I have a PC box conveniently beside me. In fact, you're better off without me. Can live longer).. Then i headed towards my bathroom, grabbed my toothpaste, squeezed it onto my toothbrush, brushed my teeth, then started to bathe..

>> ( Fast Forward)
Then I went down for breakfast.. My mum prepared the classic tuna sandwich for me (Ahhh, Tuna!!) to have as breakfast and also to bring to school.. Then waited a short while for my friend Kee Yeow to come and pick me up.. When he arrived, ran to his car, opened the door, called Auntie and then started on the journey to the place I LOVe most in the whole wide world (sarcastic tone), school..

Today was a fairly normal day in school.. As usual, full of laughs and jokes, courtesy of my best mates, Karthi, Navind, Pravin, and Adrian.. Oh ya, i also got my results today, not all of them (3 subjects, to be exact). I faired ok.. Not bad.. Up to par.. Still can improve la.. Not my best yet.. But I wasn't very happy with my modern Maths results. Overall, so far, so good.

Recess.. Had my tuna bread (Actually had that slightly earlier, when my teacher was teaching, but let's skip that part shall we?).. Nothing special happened during recess.. Just did the thing that I do best, talk crap and cracking lame jokes..

After recess, had Maths, Sivik and BM. Suffered greatly during maths, shocked over the result that i got.. It was truly unexpected, truly.. Unexplainably unexpectedly BAD!! But, being Jonathan So, I cheered up when it was Sivik period. I tell you, if only i could interchange my Sivik marks with maths. That would truly make my day!! Maybe I should bribe my teacher tomorrow.. My BM was quite satisfactory. Well, the teacher gave me alot of "pity marks".. God Bless her.. She is officially my favourite teacher.. No doubt about that.. Maybe I'll try doing her homework for a start.. Then she wouldn't need to be so merciful in the future..

Well, that was about what happened in school today.. Tomorrow i'll be getting more of my results and I hope that they would be better than today's.. Fingers crossed!!

Tiamo,
Jonathan

Well, in this blog i'll show you some ( some!!!) camp photos.. It's not as many as my friends, but at least got right??

Well, this is our campsite.. Peace Haven/Heaven, Genting.. Yeah, I know it looks like a school..

This are my dear group mates.. I love you guys.. Seriously.. I'll introduce you to them..
Back row (From left) : Fiona Bhaskran, Franshena Bhaskran, Chua Yi Ke, Lim Regine, Teo Jie Sheng, Teo Jia Jiun
Front row ( From right) : Derrick Lee (GL), Lim Sern Wang (GA), Wong Hui Yee, Wee Xin Pei

Note that i'm not in the photo. Well as a considerate person, i didn't want to ruin this photo. So i sacrificed myself, for the greater good. Just joking..

Well, this is Rev. William Wan.. Our camp speaker.. Someone i really respect ( I'm not really known for respecting someone(ask Sern Wang),so that means he is something!!!)... He was cool and calm and answering questions from us youths about life issues, love life, religion, even zebras!!

This are the participants of our camp. I was supposed to be beside Rev. William, but because Esther was small enough to squeeze into the gap between us, in the end she was the lucky one..

This is our camp book.. Thanks Melvina for taking a photo of it, so that i can put it into my blog..

Well, that's all the photos i "stole" from my friends. Not in the mood of stealing more, so i'll do it some other day.. Cheers..

YF Camp 2009 a.k.a Best Camp So Far!!!

Sorry.. I'm still campsick..
If you have been keeping up with some of my friend's blogs, you would know that we've just attended our Youth Camp from the 30th May-1st June 2009, in Peace Haven/Heaven( I still don't know the exact name until now),Genting..
Indeed, the camp was marvelous, excellent, indescribable, amazing, awesome, superb, etc.(Sorry, my vocab is quite shallow)..
The theme for our camp this year was All For Love, Love For All.
There were 5 groups in camp this year..
They were named Peace,Love,Joy,Faith and Hope.
I was very fortunate and grateful to be slotted into Group Peace, under the leadership of Derrick Lee ( also known as Bei Yong Jun) on the last night of camp..
I'm proud and thankful that i was in such an active and "peaceful" group, so thank you Sern Wang,Derrick,Fiona,Franshena,Hui Yee, Jia Jiun,Jie Sheng,Regine, Xin Pei and Yi Ke!!!
Well,in my humble opinion, i think the best part of the camp are the sessions with our accomplished speaker( accomplished is not even the word to describe him), Rev Wan..
He is very funny, articulate, wise, handsome and active for a man in his 60s. And heck,he shares the same birthday as yours truly. What an honour!!
Anyway, thats just a glimpse of what I think of the camp. I don't want to say too much or else you'll say i'm talkative..
But last but not least, congrats to everyone for making this camp a success.
Lets strive and work together to make the next camp an even more awesome-r one^^
Cheers
